Comrades, Auxiliaries and friends, 

      District 9 meeting in Sheridan is May 1st at 1:00 PM.

      Here are our election results for the Post and auxiliaries:

Post— Commander Wm Theaker, Sr. Vice Otto Richter, Jr. Vice Briney Lienczewski, Quartermaster Wayne Miller, Judge Advocate and Adjutant Duane Pretzer, Chaplain Wm Kubik, Surgeon and Service officer Don Wazny, 3 yr trustee

Terry Roethlisberger, Bar Committee Duane Pretzer, Otto Richter, Don Wazny.  Ladies Auxiliary— President Arloa Richter, Sr. Vice Sue Mitas,  Jr. Vice Rose King, Treasurer Connie Lienczewski, Secretary Jamie Schultz, Conductress Evelyn Manry, Chaplain Diane Hess, Guard Sue Mitas, 3yr Trustee Sue Mitas.  Men’s Auxiliary- President Andy

Chaplain Gary Polzen Trustee Gary Manry.  All will take office July 1st 2011 until June 2012.  Post and Auxiliaries installation party is May 21st at 7:30 in the Club.  Pot luck dish to pass.  This is also our 75th year as a Post and

 Ladies Auxiliary.  Congratulations. 

     Honor Guard is having their steak dinner May 7th 1-5 pm you must purchase your dinner ticker by April 30th. 

     Last taco dinners  for the year is May 4th and May 18th. 

     Memorial Day Post celebration about 12:30, will be after the Vets Plaza ceremonies. 

     Reserve Center on Douglas street will have their breakfast May 22nd  at 9:00 am

     Planning meeting for the next 6 months will be June 4th at 3:00 pm in the Club room.  All who have ideas for meals and parties are welcome to attend.

     As a reminder we’ll have our 4th of July Chicken BBQ on the 4th starting at 1:00pm until gone.

     Flag Day is June 14th  purchase your flag at the Club and turn in your old worn out flags by then.    State Convention is June 17th to 19th in Troy.

    Need items for May 4th, 5th and 6th Ladies Aux. rummage sale in hall.  Drop off  your donations at the club anytime by May 2nd.

     Let’s keep our families, friends and other loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.  God bless our veterans for without them, where would we be?   Remember to keep this

newsletter for two months. 

     Post and Ladies Auxiliary will be celebrating their 75th anniversary May 21st at the installation dinner. 

     The Post was formed March 6th 1936 and the Ladies Auxiliary one month later. 

6 month planning meeting will be June 4th at 3:00 pm in the Club room.  All those who have thoughts and ideas for meals and parties are welcome to attend.
